K Josh Scobee Signs A Four-Year Contract

Tania Ganguli reports that K Josh Josh Scobee‘s deal is a four-year deal worth $13.8 million with “$4.75 million in total guarantees which includes a $3.75 million signing bonus and $1 million first-year guaranteed salary.

This deal makes him the third highest paid kicker in the NFL today with “$3.45 million” per year, just behind K Sebastian Janikowski’s $4 million and K Phil Dawson’s $3.81 million.

Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times Union reports that the K Josh Scobee agrees to terms on a long term deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.  The financial details of this contract have yet to be released.

Scobee was designated as the teams franchise player and was due a $2.6 million for the 2012 season.  Scobee has been with the Jaguars throughout his entire eight year career.
