Kamerion Wimbley Signs With The Titans

It’s official, the Tennessee Titans have signed OLB Kamerion Wimbley to a five-year deal worth $35 million.

Wimbley’s new contract will pay him $13.5 million guaranteed which comes on top of the $6.5 million that the Raiders still owe him.

This will be a new challenge for Wimbley as he’ll have to move from outside linebacker to 4-3 defensive end but that’s certainly been done by a number of players before so I’m sure he’ll be able to handle it just fine.

The Titans get the pass rusher that they desperately needed. We had Wimbley listed as the #2 best available free agent in our Top 50 Free Agents list.

Adam Caplan reports that OLB Kamerion Wimbley will spend the night in Tennessee and continue working on a five-year agreement with the Tennssee Titans.

Caplan believes that Wimbley will likely lineup at defensive end for the Titans next season which happens to be one of their biggest needs.

Wimbley is by far the best available pass rusher on the market so this would be a great move for the Titans after missing out on Peyton Manning and Scott Wells last week.

We have Wimbley listed as the #2 best available free agent in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
