Kevin Kolb Out For Week 10

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb is not expected to play in Week 10’s game against his former team the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kolb was looking forward to playing in this game so it’s safe to assume that his injury is rather serious. He has been dealing with a turf toe injury that kept him out of last Sunday’s game but John Skelton was able to step in and lead the team to a win over the St Louis Rams. You could make the argument that the Cardinals won in spite of Skelton’s performance as he accounted for two safeties during the game but a victory over the Eagles would certainly start the speculation that he could replace Kolb as the teams quarterback.
