Kevin Kolb Starts Off As The Cardinals Starting QB In OTAs

The Arizona Cardinals have mentioned that they’ll hold a competition between quarterbacks Kevin Kolb John Skelton for the team’s starting quarterback position.

Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports that Kolb opened the team’s OTAs as the first-team quarterback on Tuesday.

Skelton will still get his opportunity to show the coaching staff what he can do, but it’s probably not that surprising to see Kolb get the first shot, considering the money that they’re paying him. The competition will carry on throughout training camp and figures to be Arizona’s top storyline heading into the preseason.
