Lee Evans Trade Could Happen In The 48 Hours

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that a trade could be consummated within the next 24 hours.

So far the Cardinals and the Ravens have been only teams to be linked to Evans so far.

ESPN’s Ross Tucker tweets that Bills GM Buddy Nix wouldn’t rule out the possibility that WR Lee Evans could be traded in the coming days.

So far the Ravens have backed away from pursuing Evans but the Arizona Cardinals are still a team to watch. They need a better No. 2 option at wide receiver and Evans could end up benefiting greatly from playing opposite of Larry Fitzgerald.

Evans is currently 30 years old and is set to make $3.275 million plus a $1.5 million roster bonus for each of the next two seasons. The money that he’s due is the biggest obstacle to over come considering that it will end up cutting into the price that teams are willing to pay. Arizona is currently without their second-round pick in 2012 as they’ve already set that to Philadelphia which really complicates things further.
