LeSean McCoy To Visit A Specialist Regarding His Lingering Concussion Symptoms

Geoff Mosher reports that Eagles RB LeSean McCoy is still dealing with concussion symptoms and will meet with a specialist in Pittsburgh.

McCoy is currently in Phase 4 of the concussion process, so there’s still a little ways to go before he can be cleared. It’s obviously quite concerning that it’s taken as long as it has for him to even make this amount of progress. Hopefully, he’ll be back at 100 percent in the coming weeks.

The Eagles have officially ruled out McCoyand QB Michael Vick for Week 14’s matchup against the Buccaneers.

In the time being, Bryce Brown will handle the Eagles rushing attack and should see at least a share of the workload once McCoy is healthy enough to return to game-action.
