Lions Activate C Dominic Raiola & Waive C Darren Keyton

The Detroit Lions have activated C Dominic Raiola from the reserve/suspended list on Monday and waived C Darren Keyton to make room for him, according to Tim Twentyman.

Raiola served his one-game suspension for stepping on the ankle of Bears DT Ego Ferguson.

Detroit is now facing the possibility of being without DT Ndamukong Suh after he stepped on Packers QB Aaron Rodgers‘ ankle on Sunday.

Getting Raiola back will help, but the Lions will be up against an impressive Cowboys team in the Wildcard round of the playoffs.

For what it’s worth, Pro Football Focus gave Travis Swanson an average grade this past weekend, so the drop off from Raiola may not be all that major, especially when you consider that Raiola ranks among the worst centers in the league, according to PFF.
