Lions Activate DE Ezekiel Ansah From PUP List

The Detroit Lions announced that they have activated DE Ezekiel Ansah from the PUP list Tuesday.

Ansah’s prolonged absence due to a shoulder injury was concerning to Detroit, despite reports that he was set to return this week.

Ansah recorded eight sacks in his rookie season, despite some nagging injuries.  Along with DT Ndamukong Suh and DL Nick Fairley, Detroit’s front-four is one of the more talented units in the league.

The Lions have not commented on Ansah’s status for their upcoming preseason slate, but Ansah has been working out at practices for quite some time.  He has too much talent for anything but a seamless return.
