Lions Activate WR Corey Fuller From PUP List, Cut TE Khari Lee

The Detroit Lions announced that they’ve activated WR Corey Fuller off the PUP list on Tuesday and waived TE Khari Lee.

Fuller, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2013. He spent his rookie season on the team’s practice squad and later returned to the team on a future/reserve contract the following year.

The Lions re-signed Fuller to a one-year, exclusive rights contract this past March. He will be a restricted free agent next year.

In 2015, Fuller appeared in 12 games for the Lions and caught four passes for 76 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

Lee, 24, wound up signing on the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Bowie State back in May of last year. He was later traded to the Bears in return for a 2017 seventh-round pick. However, the Bears elected to place Lee on waivers and he was later claimed by the Lions.

Lee is in the second year of his three-year, $1.577 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.

In 2016, Lee appeared in eight games for the Lions but has yet to record a statistic.
