Lions Activating CB Jamal Agnew From Injured Reserve

Lions HC Matt Patricia announced Wednesday that they will activate CB Jamal Agnew from injured reserve.

The Lions placed Agnew on injured reserve with a knee injury back in October before designating him to return a few weeks ago.

Agnew, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Lions back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.65 million contract and set to make base salaries of $555,000 and $645,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Agnew has appeared in five games for the Lions and recorded seven tackles, a fumble recovery, a pass defense, 167 kick return yards and 39 punt return yards.
