Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Lions and Bills are showing the most interest in free agent TE Jared Cook.

  • Tom Silverstein reports that the Packers plan to shift their focus to keeping Cook now that they’ve taken care of OLB Nick Perry.

Cook is among the best available tight ends and while he was a good fit in Green Bay, it’s possible that other teams could push up his asking price and make it tough on the Packers to match.

Cook, 29, is a former third-round pick by the Titans in the 2009 NFL Draft. He played out his rookie contract with Tennessee before signing a big-money deal with the Rams as a free agent back in 2013.

After he was released by the Rams, the Packers signed Cook to a one-year, $2.75 million last offseason.

In 2016, Cook appeared in 10 games for the Packers and recorded 30 receptions for 377 yards receiving, one touchdown, and lost one fumble. Pro Football Focus graded him as the No. 11 overall tight end out of 63 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2017 Free Agents list.
