Lions CB Quandre Diggs Out For Season With Pectoral Injury

Rand Getlin is reporting that Lions CB Quandre Diggs suffered a season-ending pectoral injury during Sunday’s win over the Saints.

The Lions will likely place Diggs on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

Diggs, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in May of last year. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.395 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $525,000 and $615,000 over the next two years.

In 2016, Diggs appeared in 12 games for the Lions and recorded 44 tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 106 cornerback out of 122 qualifying players.
