Lions Claim DE C.J. Wilson Off Waivers From Raiders, Place DL Andre Fluellen On I.R.

The Detroit Lions officially claimed DE C.J. Wilson off of waivers from the Raiders and placed DL Andre Fluellen on season-ending injured reserve.

Wilson, 28, is a former seventh round pick of the Packers back in 2010. He spent four years in Green Bay before joining the Raiders as a free agent during March of last year.

Wilson was among their final roster cuts at the start of the season, but later returned to the Raiders on a two-year deal

This season, Wilson has appeared in four games an recorded three tackles.

Fluellen, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Lions back in 2008. He has spent most of his seven-year NFL career in Detroit, but has had brief stints with the Bears and Dolphins before joining the Bills this summer.

The Lions later brought him back.

This season, Fluellen has appeared in four games and recorded four tackles for the Lions.
