Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Lions claimed LB Jayson Dimanche off of waivers from the Bengals.
DiManche, 25, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois back in 2013. He was waived/injured during the first round of roster cuts and eventually released from injured reserve with a settlement.
The Browns wound up signing DiManche off of the Bengals practice squad last year. However, he later returned to the Bengals’ practice squad and was brought back on a reserve/future’s contract in January.
The Bengals cut him loose on Monday.
In 2015, DiManche has appeared in one game, but hasn’t recorded a single statistic.
