Lions Claim OL Adam Bisnowaty Off Waivers From Giants, Waive OL Brett Kendrick

The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that they’ve claimed OL Adam Bisnowaty off of waivers from the Giants and waived OL Brett Kendrick.

  • The Lions also signed 2018 third-round (82nd overall) draft selection S Tracy Walker to a four-year deal.

Bisnowaty, 24, was taken in the sixth-round of this year’s draft by the Giants. He signed four-year, $2.54 million contract that included a $146,548 signing bonus but was waived coming out of the preseason last year.

The Giants later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the regular season before eventually calling him up in December. Unfortunately, the Giants waived him on Monday.

During his college career at Pittsburgh, Bisnowaty started 43 games and was a first-team All-ACC as a junior and senior.

In 2017, Bisnowaty appeared in one game for the Giants.
