- Tom Pelissero of USA Today report Sunday night that the Seahawks could still re-sign Tate at some point in next few weeks.
The two sides are believed to have mutual interest in an agreement, but it could prove to be tough to sign Tate to a market-value contract given that they just locked up DE Michael Bennett.
Tate, 25, is among the best receiver available in this year’s free agent class. He appeared in all 16 games last season and caught 64 passes for 898 yards receiving and five touchdowns. He also contributed as a kick returner as well.
We have him listed as the No. 26 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
