Lions Designate OT Corey Robinson To Return From Injured Reserve

The Lions announced that they’ve officially designated OT Corey Robinson to return from injured reserve on Wednesday.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Lions to add him to their active roster or he’ll spend the duration of the 2017 season on injured reserve.

The Liosn placed Robinson on the PUP list coming out of the preseason and later added him to their injured reserve list with a foot injury a few weeks later.

Robinson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Lions back in 2015. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.338 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2016, Robinson appeared in 14 games for the Lions.
