Lions Drayton Florence Sustained A Broken Right Forearm

Lions cornerback Drayton Florence suffered a broken right forearm in their 27-19 defeat to the 49ers on Sunday night, per Carlos Monarrez of the Detroit Free Press

“We have a lot of bumps and bruises,” Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said, via Monarrez. “We’ll see this week how it goes. I don’t think we have anybody other than Drayton as potentially more than day-to-day.”

While Florence will be out indefinitely, cornerback Chris Houston and safety Louis Delmas appear to being getting closer to full health. Most notably Delmas, who Schwartz said his rehab “is trending upwards.” There will be more pressure on Houston and Delmas to return this week as the Lions secondary has been plagued with injury.
