Lions Have No Plans To Trade RB Mikel LeShoure

Lions GM Martin Mayhew told reporters on Monday that they have “zero interest” in trading RB Mikel LeShoure this offseason, per Dave Birkett.

  • According to Mayhew, they have had no trade talks with other teams regarding LeShoure who is expected to be a Lion in 2014.

LeShoure’s name has come up quite often in recent years as a possible trade candidate given that it appeared as though he had fallen out of favor with the Lions coaching staff.

Detroit has Jim Caldwell now in charge of the team, so they must be hoping that he’s capable of getting things turned around.

In 2013, he appeared in just three games and totaled only two carries for nine yards.
