Lions Hosted OT Nick Becton For Visit

The Detroit Lions brought in free agent OT Nick Becton in for a visit on Monday, according to Field Yates.

Becton, 27, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech back in 2013. He lasted over a year in San Diego before signing on to the Giants’ practice squad at the start of the 2014 season.

After a brief stint with the Saints, Becton signed on with the Bears and returned on a one-year contract back in March of last year but was waived with an injury designation during the preseason and spent the entire season on injured reserve.

In 2015, Becton appeared in five games for the Bears.
