According to Aaron Wilson, the Lions are promoting WR Jace Billingsley from their practice squad to their active roster.
Billingsley, 23, signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Oregon back in May. He was among Detroit’s final roster cuts before signing on to the team’s practice squad after clearing waivers.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his four-year college career, Billingsley recorded 249 receptions for 2,596 yards receiving and 23 touchdowns. He also accumulated 314 rushing attempts for 1,784 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns.
