Lions Re-Sign ERFA QB Jake Rudock

The Detroit Lions announced Wednesday that exclusive rights free agent QB Jake Rudock has already signed his one-year tender.

Rudock, 25, is a former sixth-round pick by the Lions of the 2016 NFL Draft. Detroit elected to waive him as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit at the start of the 2016 season and they signed him to their practice squad after clearing waivers.

Rudock managed to make the 53-man roster last season. He receives a one-year, $630,000 contract from the Lions for the 2018 season.

In 2017, Rudock appeared in three games for the Lions and completed three of five pass attempts for 24 yards and an interception.
