Lions Re-Sign LS Don Muhlbach To One-Year Contract

According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Lions re-signed veteran LS Don Muhlbach to a one-year contract.

  • The Lions officially announced the move on March 15.

Muhlbach, 35, originally signed on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in 2004. He lasted just a few months in Baltimore before he was waived at the start of the regular season. The Lions later signed him towards the end of the 2004 season and he’s spent the past 13 years in Detroit.

Muhlbach has been signing one-year contracts with the Lions since 2012, so this doesn’t come as a big surprise.

In 2016, Muhlbach appeared in all 16 games and hasn’t missed a game since the 2009 season.
