Lions Re-Sign QB Dan Orlovsky

The Detroit Lions announced Friday that they’ve re-signed back up QB Dan Orlovsky.

Orlovsky, 30, is a former fifth-round pick of the Lions back in 2005. He spent four years in Detroit before having brief stints with the Texans, Colts and Buccaneers.

Orlovsky returned to the Lions in 2014 has spen the past two years as Matthew Stafford‘s backup.

In 2015, Orlovsky appeared in three games and threw for 201 yards while completing 55 percent of his passes to go along with one touchdown and an interception.
