Lions Re-Signed QB Dan Orlovsky

The Detroit Lions announced Monday that they’ve re-signed veteran QB Dan Orlovsky.

There was talk in recent weeks that the Lions were interested in bringing Orlovsky back for another year.

Orlovsky, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Lions back in 2005. He spent the first three years of his career in Detroit before later joining the Texans, Colts, and Buccaneers.

The Lions brought him back on a one-year deal in April of last year. Orlovsky didn’t appear in a game last season.
