Lions Release OT Storm Norton From Practice Squad, Sign OT Dan Skipper

The Detroit Lions announced Monday that they’ve signed OT Dan Skipper to their practice squad and released OT Storm Norton from the unit.

The Lions’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. LB Thurston Armbrister (Exception)
  2. CB Adairius Barnes
  3. WR Jace Billingsley
  4. WR Dontez Ford (Injured)
  5. C Leo Koloamatangi
  6. DE Earl Okine
  7. S Rolan Milligan
  8. TE Hakeem Valles (Exception)
  9. WR Noel Thomas
  10. DT Christian Ringo (Exception)
  11. OT Dan Skipper

Norton, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Lions cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

Norton has been on and off of their practice squad the past few weeks.

During his five-year college career at Toledo, Norton earned first-team All-MAC honors, while also being named to the AP All-Bowl Team.
