Lions coach Jim Schwartz told reports that “all signs are good” in regards to Jahvid Best status for next season, per Terry McCormick.
All signs have pointed to him returning next season but given that he’s coming off of another pretty serious concussion. Best mentioned that has been symptom-free in recent months but reports have suggested that the Lions will remain cautious with Best next season which could translate into a lot of work for Mikel Leshoure.
Nate Burleson & Corey Williams
Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports that Detroit is “firmly committed” to having WR Nate Burleson and DT Corey Williams as part of their team next season.
It was previously believed that both of them could be let go to clear some extra cap space. As of now, it seems as though they’ll look to create space by making some other moves.
