Lions Sign CB Crezdon Butler, Place DT Stefan Charles On Injured Reserve

The Detroit Lions announced Wednesday that they’ve placed DT Stefan Charles on injured reserve with a knee injury and signed CB Crezdon Butler.

Butler, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2010. Since then, Butler has played for a number of teams including the Cardinals, Redskins, Bills, Chargers, Buccaneers and most recently for the Lions.

The Lions re-signed Butler to a contract back in March but he was unfortunately cut loose during the final week of the preseason.

In 2015, Butler appeared in nine  games and recorded three tackles for the Lions.
