Lions Sign CB Darrin Walls

The Detroit Lions announced that they’ve signed CB Darrin Walls to a contract on Tuesday.

Walls, 27, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame back in 2011. He lasted just over a year in Atlanta before signing on to the Jets’ practice squad.

New York elected to bring Walls back on a two-year contract in March of 2014. He was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Walls appeared in 13 games for the Jets and recorded 10 tackles, no interceptions and three pass defenses.
