Lions Sign LB Rocky McIntosh, Cut Adrian Moten

Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com reports that the Lions have signed veteran LB Rocky McIntosh to a one-year contract.

  • Twentyman adds that the Lions released LB Adrian Moten to make space for McIntosh in the Lions 90-man roster.

McIntosh, 30, had previously worked out for the Lions during training camp, yet nothing materialized until now. Last season, McIntosh played a total of 16 games for the Rams, starting nine, in which he was able to record 44 tackles and a sack.

The decision to bring in the 30-year-old veteran is likely to have been made after the team’s starting defense was played poorly against the Browns.
