Lions Sign Veteran OT Tony Hills, Waive G Connor Bozick

The Detroit Lions announced Thursday that they’ve Lions signed veteran OT Tony Hills and waived G Connor Bozick.

The Lions were clearly in the market for some offensive tackle help after Taylor Decker suffered a recent injury. Detroit actually met with former Bills OT Cyrus Kouandjio, but it appears as though they preferred to see what Hills can do with the opportunity.

Hills, 32, is a former fourth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2008. He spent two years in Pittsburgh before brief stops with several teams including the Broncos, Colts, Bills, Raiders, Dolphins, Cowboys, Panthers and Ravens before signing on with the Saints during the 2015 season.

In 2016, Hills appeared in 11 games for the Saints.
