The Detroit Lions announced the signing of LB Brandon Copeland on Tuesday.
Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Lions are signing LB Brandon Copeland to a contract.
Previous reports had said that Copeland had interest from as many as 11 NFL teams following his performance at the veteran’s combine.
Other teams with reported interest in Copeland included: the Bengals, Chiefs, Colts, Giants, Eagles and Titans.
Copeland, 23, originally signed on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Pennsylvania back in 2013. He lasted just a few months with the team before he was waived and later caught on with the Titans.
Copeland has yet to appear in an NFL game.
