Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Lions tried out four players on Tuesday including RB Justin Forsett (signed), DT Markus Kuhn, RB Terrence Magee, and LB O’Brien Schofield.
Schofield, 29, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2010. He spent three years in Arizona before signing on with the Seahawks in 2013. Schofield later followed Dan Quinn to Atlanta and signed a one-year contract with the Falcons last year.
Atlanta decided to re-sign Schofield a few weeks ago only to cut him loose last week.
In 2015, Schofield appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons and recorded 29 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 71 edge rusher out of 110 qualifying players.
