Orchard, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Browns back in 2015. He was in the final year of his four-year, $4.466 million contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season when the Browns elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2017, Orchard appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and recorded 25 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.

Mauldin, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Jets back in 2015. He was in the final year of his four-year, $3,008,016 contract and set to make a base salary of $723,000 for the 2018 season when the Jets waived him coming out of the preseason.
Mauldin suffered a season-ending back injury last year that led to him being placed on injured reserve.
In 2016, Mauldin appeared in 11 games for the Jets and recorded 16 tackles, 2.5 sacks, an interception and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 82 edge defender out of 109 qualifying players.
