Lions Trying To Get WR Calvin Johnson More Involved In Their Offense

Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan indicated that they will try to get Calvin Johnson more involved in the early part of Sunday’s game because he believes is imperative for the team’s success.

“It’s going to come back and bite you,” Linehan said, per Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. “I think it’s really more key that we continue to make the adjustments we’re making so that his impact is still very effective as the game goes on”

Johnson will face a very questionable Vikings secondary, that hasn’t looked great against the likes of Blaine Gabbert and Andrew Luck, but they were able to hold Alex Smith in check last week. Over the course of Johnson career, the Vikings have used  two deep safeties to limit his impact.
