According to Dave Birkett, the Lions have waived DE Jeremiah Valoaga on Saturday.
Valoaga, 23, signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of UNLV back in May. He is in the first year of a  three-year, $1.66 million contract and is set to earn a base salary of $465,000 this year.
So far this season, Valoaga has appeared in nine games for the Lions and recorded five total tackles and one sack.
