The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that they’ve signed OT Jamar McGloser and placed OL Adam Bisnowaty on waivers.
Bisnowaty, 24, was taken in the sixth-round of this year’s draft by the Giants. He signed four-year, $2.54 million contract that included a $146,548 signing bonus but was waived coming out of the preseason last year.
The Giants later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the regular season before eventually calling him up in December. New York waived him back in May and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Lions.
During his college career at Pittsburgh, Bisnowaty started 43 games and was a first-team All-ACC as a junior and senior.
In 2017, Bisnowaty appeared in one game for the Giants.
