The Detroit Lions announced Friday that they’ve waived OT Greg Robinson with an injury designation.
- The Lions also signed WR Bradley Marquez to the practice squad and released CB Adairius Barnes from the unit.
The Lions’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Dontez Ford (Injured)
- C Leo Koloamatangi
- DE Earl Okine
- S Rolan Milligan
- TE Hakeem Valles
- DT Christian Ringo
- WR Andy Jones
- LB Thurston Armbrister
- QB Brad Kaaya
- OT Dan Skipper
- WR Bradley Marquez
Should Robinson pass through waivers unclaimed, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Robinson, 25, was taken with the No. 2 overall pick back in 2014. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $21.284 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $3,322,377 for the 2017 season.
The Rams declined to pick up Robison’s fifth-year option during that offseason that was worth $12,496,000 for the 2018 season. Los Angeles later traded Robinson to the Lions for a 2018 sixth-round pick.
In 2017, Robinson has appeared in six games for the Lions and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 71 offensive tackle out of 78 qualifying players.
