Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Lions worked out three defensive backs including Jocquel Skinner, Raymon Taylor and Jason Wilson on Wednesday.
Skinner, 23, signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Bethel (TN) back in 2014. He lasted just a month with the team before he was waived/injured. However, the Buccaneers later signed him to a future/reserve contract at the end of last season before waiving him just before the draft.
After a brief stint with the Panthers, Skinner wound up signing with the Lions back in August, but his stay in Detroit was short lived and he was cut a few weeks later.
Skinner has yet to appear in an NFL game.
