Lions Worked Out LB Azeem Victor

According to Howard Balzer, the Detroit Lions brought in free agent LB Azeem Victor for a workout this week.

Victor, 23, was selected with the No. 216 overall pick in the sixth round by the Raiders. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later had a brief stint on the Buccaneers’ practice squad.

After being waived by Tampa Bay, the Seahawks signed Victor to their practice squad before recently cutting him loose.

During his four-year college career at Washington, Victor recorded 198 tackles, 14 tackles for a loss, 3.5 sacks, an interception, three forced fumbles, two recoveries, one defensive touchdown and 10 pass defenses over the course of 34 games.
