Lions Worked Out Veteran CB Sterling Moore

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media is reporting that the Lions brought in veteran CB Sterling Moore for a workout on Thursday.

This is the second reported tryout for Moore since he recently became available.

Moore, 27, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Methodist back in 2011. However, he lasted just a few months in Oakland before he was waived a few weeks into his rookie season.

Moore bounced around a bit with the Patriots, Cowboys, Buccaneers and before signing a one-year contract with the Saints right before the start of the 2016 regular season. Moore returned to the Saints on a one-year, $900,000 this past March but was cut loose just last week.

In 2017, Moore has appeared in two games for the Saints and recorded three tackles and no interceptions.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
