London Fletcher “99 Percent Certain” He’s Retiring

Redskins MLB London Fletcher announced that he’s “99 percent certain” that he will retire following this season.

Fletcher, an undrafted free agent out of John Carroll, has had an incredible 16-year career that includes a Rookie of the Year award, Super Bowl champion with the 1999 Rams and an unbelievable games-started streak of 219 and is still going. Given the physical demands from the linebacker position, it’s truly a remarkable accomplishment by Fletcher.

Fletcher’s career totals include: 1,378 tackles, 23 interceptions, 19 forced fumbles, 12 fumble recoveries and three touchdowns.

He has a pretty good resume that should garner Hall of Fame consideration.
