Mario Manningham Stepping Into Steve Smith’s Old Role?

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin mentioned that WR Mario Manningham would be used as the teams slot receiver unless Victor Cruz or Jerrel Jernigan step up their game in the coming weeks.

This move would slide Manningham into Steve Smith‘s old position which is good news for Manningham but it will be interesting to see how he handles the role. New York would then use Domenik Hixon and Hakeem Nicks as the teams outside receivers.
