Marion Barber Out For Sunday’s Game

Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Chicago Bears have made the decision to start Kahlil Bell for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

Marion Barber is likely to be held out of game action with a calf injury so you can expect to see undrafted rookie Armando Allen this weekend.

The Packers run defense has been suspect as the Chiefs were able to run all over them last weekend so both Bell and Allen could have decent days of their own. Green Bay is coming off of their first loss in nearly an entire year so it’s safe to assume that they’re going to try to shore up their defense and stopping the run will be at the top of their to-do list.
