Matt Flynn Gets The First Start Of The Seahawks Preseason

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll announced that Matt Flynn will be the starting quarterback for their first preseason game later this week, per John Boyle.

Flynn is expected to play the entire first half, so it will certainly be a benchmark for his progression in the team’s offense. Rookie QB Russell Wilson with then take over in the second-half, which seems to suggest that Tarvaris Jackson is likely coming to an end sooner than later. This is with a doubt one of the most interesting storylines of the preseason.
