Titans head coach Mike Munchak told reporters on Monday that Matt Hasselbeck will be their starting quarterback for Week 9’s game against the Chicago Bears, per Jim Wyatt.
Munchak added that Jake Locker hasn’t received clearance from their medical staff, per Jim Wyatt.
While the Titans lost in overtime to the Colts, Hasselbeck has been pretty effective in relief of Locker, so it’s not surprising that they would stick with him and ensure that Locker is at least close to being 100 percent before allowing him to return.
