Matt Hasselbeck Likely To Be The Titans Starting QB?

According to Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean, Matt Hasselbeck should end up beating out Jake Locker for the Titans’ starting quarterback job.

The Titans appear to be willing to hold an open competition for the job, and you’d have to think that Locker would give Hasselbeck a run for his money this year. Locker’s skill set is certainly better than Hasselbeck’s, but last year Matt put together a decent enough season in his first year with the team.

Should they end up going with Hasselbeck to start the season, there’s no question that his leash will be much shorter than it was last season.
