Memphis QB Paxton Lynch To Enter 2016 NFL Draft

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Memphis QB Paxton Lynch will announce at a press conference this morning that he’s entering the 2016 NFL draft.

This shouldn’t come as a major surprise, seeing as some view Lynch as the best quarterback prospect in this year’s NFL draft.

While Lynch offers size, athleticism and an arm, some feel as though other quarterback prospects like California’s Jared Goff are more NFL-ready. Even so, Lynch is likely to come off the board in round one.

During his three years at Memphis, Lynch threw for 8,865 yards while completing 62.9 percent of his passes to go along with 59 touchdowns and 23 interceptions. He also contributed 687 yards rushing and 17 rushing touchdowns during this time.
