Michael Vick Hoping To Find A Starting Job Next Season

Michael Vick recently mentioned that he is hoping to get another shot at being a starter in 2014.

The rise of Nick Foles has led to Vick being displaced as the Eagles starting quaterback, but the fact that he will be an unrestricted free agent after season suggests that he could be playing elsewhere in 2014.

“I don’t worry about it,” Vick said, via CSN Philly. “My skill set is still there, my arm is still there, my legs are still there, I’m still a playmaker, that’s evident. I think at some point, I’ll be playing somewhere.”

Vick, 34, should end up being one of the more interesting free agents to watch just based on the fact that he could find interest from team’s looking for a starting quarterback, or he could be the most sought after backup on the market.

Assuming that he no one is interested in giving his a starting job, Vick said he would be open to returning to the Eagles as Foles’ backup.

We have Vick tentatively listed as the No. 63 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
