ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that a source has informed him that the Philadelphia Eagles are under the impression that Michael Vick will be able to play in Sunday’s game.

Vick has still yet to pass the tests required for a player to return to game action following a concussion but it’s apparent that the team fells as though he’ll be able to pass the tests.

ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio provided an update regarding the status of Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick who is recovering from a concussion suffered on Sunday.

Vick “desperately wants to get back on the practice field as soon as possible — that means Wednesday morning, when [offensive coordinator] Marty Mornhinweg installs the game plan against the Giants, whose dizzying array of blitz packages gave Vick fits last season. Vick wanted to return to the game on Sunday night, but the team trainers took his helmet and shoulder pads from him,” said Paolantonio during an appearance on ”NFL Live.”
